Google will present its competitor ChatGPT this month

Google CEO Sundar Pichai said that in the coming weeks, the company will unveil its response to ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence chatbot that has become the world’s fastest-growing app in two months.

The announcement comes after Alphabet reported disappointing financial results in the fourth quarter. Google’s parent company’s profits fell by more than a third, according to the report.

“Over the coming weeks and months, we will open up access to our language models so that people can directly interact with them; LaMDA will be first in line.”

Pichai noted that Google’s priority will be “responsible” artificial intelligence, which will help avoid issues of bias and wrong answers that are inherent in technology that learns from user-generated content. In addition, the CEO of Google announced the introduction of new AI-powered tools into Alphabet’s daily workflow to improve efficiency.

Earlier, Yandex also announced the development of its own language model – the neural network should be operational by the end of 2023.
