CFD Gaming presents its first NVMe SSDs compliant with the latest PCI Express standard. CFD’s 2TB drive is the first drive in the Japanese market. To solve the heat problem, the manufacturer placed a heat sink on top of the SSD and a small fan on top of it.

As @momomo_us pointed out, during testing the fan ran at very high speeds and was much louder than Intel’s Core i7-13700K CPU cooler. This is probably due to heavy storage usage during testing.

Testing with CrystalDiskMark confirms that the SSD shows sequential read and write speeds of over 10GB/s as promised by the manufacturer.
