In one of the episodes on TheSpyHood YouTube channel, experts tested three processors (i5-12600K, Ryzen 9 5950X, i9-10900K) in games at ultra graphics settings. All games are released in 1080p and 1440p.

Far Cry 6 averaged 142 fps (with i5-12600K), 135 fps (with Ryzen 9 5950X) and 137 fps (i9-10900K) at 1080p, 116k, 110k and 109k at 1440p /With.

Watch Dogs Legion ran at 1080p with average frame rates of 128fps (i5), 122fps (Ryzen 9) and 122fps (i9), at 1440p these figures were 105fps, 102fps and 99fps respectively.

Call of Duty Vanguard ran at 242fps (i5-12600K), 231fps (Ryzen 9 5950X), 236fps (i9-10900K), 172fps, 167fps and 168fps at 1440p.

At 1080p it was possible to get 120fps (i5), 115fps (Ryzen 9) and 113fps (i9) at 1080p, 88fps, 89fps and 86 at 1440p k/s in God of War.

Battlefield 2042 ran in Full HD with average frame rates of approximately 151 fps (i5-12600K), 140 fps (Ryzen 9 5950X) and 144 fps (i9-10900K) at 1440p from 114 fps, 110 fps and 109 fps, respectively.

Forza Horizon 5 ran at 1080p with average FPS of 149 fps (i5-12600K), 147 fps (Ryzen 9 5950X) and 142 fps (i9-10900K) from 124 fps, 119 k/s and 118 fps.

Village Resident Evil ran at 1080p with an average frame rate of 217 fps (with i5), 205 fps (with Ryzen 9) and 202 fps (with i9). At 1440p this game managed to achieve 171fps, 165fps and 166fps respectively.

Days Gone ran in Full HD with an average performance of 181fps on the i5-12600K, 169fps on the Ryzen 9 5950X and 172fps on the i9-10900K. At 1440p, performance was 142 fps, 136 fps and 133 fps, respectively.

Horizon Zero Dawn averaged 156 fps (with i5), 149 fps (with Ryzen 9) and 147 fps (with i9) at 1080p, 126 fps, 121 fps and 119 fps at 1440p.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla ran at 1080p at an average frame rate of 134 fps (with i5-12600K), 125 fps (with Ryzen 9 5950X), 126 fps (with i9-10900K), 1440p, 103 fps, 98 fps and 96 fps.

Cyberpunk 2077 ran at 1080p at 1440p with an average of 137 fps (i5), 134 fps (Ryzen 9) and 133 fps (i9) from 101 fps, 96 fps, 97 kph, respectively.

Overall, the Core i5-12600K processor had the best average performance in all modern games. The percentage difference with the Ryzen 9 5950X was 1080p – 5% (160 fps and 152 fps), 1440p – 4% (124 fps and 119 fps) and with the Core i9 -10900K – 5% (160 fps). fps and 152 fps) and 5% (124 fps and 118 fps).
