SberHealth has launched a smart blood pressure monitor under its own brand. The kit includes a three-month subscription for remote monitoring by a doctor. This is the company’s first product in the health device market.
The tonometer is synchronized with a smartphone and, when measuring pressure, transmits the indicators to the SberHealth application. A patient and a cardiologist have access to it, who can advise, adjust the treatment or call an ambulance, Forbes learned.
The devices are manufactured in China, and in the future SberHealth intends to localize the process and produce other equipment. Sber fulfills warranty obligations and will then open centers for repairing and checking devices.
Sales of the device for 2490 rubles began in the markets, in the future smart blood pressure monitors will appear in bank branches and other outlets.
In June 2020, Sberbank launched the SberHealth service based on DocDoc. The DocDoc service entered the Sberbank group of companies in 2017. The company’s partners are four thousand private clinics.
