Cores now run at 2.2 GHz instead of 2.3 GHz. The rest of the features remain the same. MediaTek is positioning the new product as a processor for entry-level gaming smartphones.

The chipset will allow you to install displays with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a 50-megapixel camera. HyperEngine 2.0 Lite game technology is also supported.

The MediaTek Helio G36 is expected to launch soon in India as an affordable gaming phone.
