Vladimir Putin will hold the first meeting with representatives of big business since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine. The President intends to attend the congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, which will be held from March 16 to 18.
Vedomosti writes about the possibility of holding a meeting between Vladimir Putin and representatives of large Russian companies, citing sources from the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) and the presidential administration.
The president will be able to meet with businesses at the RSPP congress, which will take place from March 16-18. The publication notes that the event will be the first public meeting between Vladimir Putin and business representatives since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine.
One of Vedomosti’s interlocutors believes that the business has accumulated issues that require direct dialogue with the authorities. Therefore, a meeting with the president for the businessmen will be an opportunity to talk about the problems and propose ways to solve them, the source said.
The last public meeting between Vladimir Putin and business representatives took place on February 24, 2022, after the launch of a special operation in Ukraine was announced.
