Fraudulent sites began to appear on RuNet that pay users to access their account to work with ChatGPT.

In December, three domains related to ChatGPT were discovered in Russia, in January 2023 – 17, and in the first weeks of February – 41.

Fraudsters may ask users to transfer money to an account as a prepayment or send a fake payment page and steal money and card details. In return, the buyer can get either a free ChatGPT account or nothing at all.

To the point: The whole world is discussing the ChatGPT chatbot. Google is in a panic, and people pass with any exams

Officially ChatGPT does not work in Russia. To register on the site, you need a virtual phone number not from Russia, and access to the neural network itself is via VPN. [Ведомости]
