Ozon has launched the first distribution center in Kazakhstan, the company said. In it, Kazakh sellers will be able to place their products and sell them to Russia.

Ozon opened the first logistics center in Kazakhstan

As a result of the opening of the warehouse complex, Ozon plans to reduce the delivery time of orders to Russia by 1.5 times, up to 10 days.

The logistics center is located in Astana, where the acceptance of goods, storage and formation of packages are carried out. The total area of ​​the facility is 10 thousand square meters. m., contains up to 700 thousand different products in any category, from food to electronics and construction materials. The capacities of the logistics center allow processing at least 24,000 orders per day.

Ozon began to increase its presence in Kazakhstan from the second half of 2021. Currently, Ozon’s logistics infrastructure in the region consists of two sorting centers in Almaty and Astana, and also has about 50 branded collection points. In February 2022, the company launched its own courier delivery in Almaty, Astana and Karaganda.
