As part of the study, they examined the performance of 80 obese adults with liver problems. All were randomly divided into four groups.

The first was the fasting group, the second was the aerobic exercise group, the third was the combination group, and the fourth was the control group.

After three months, the group that replaced daily fasting with unlimited food intake and doing physical exercise at the same time showed a significant improvement in health. Including normalization of insulin sensitivity, reduction of body weight, fat mass, waist circumference, liver fat, and disease biomarkers such as alanine transaminase levels.

The results of the study show that a combination of exercise and dietary interventions can help improve the health of patients suffering from non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. This understanding may be helpful in treating this disease, given its high prevalence and potential complications.
