Valve says this tool can reduce internet traffic and reduce the time it takes for games and updates to load.
“You don’t have to worry about bandwidth or data transfer limits when all the files you need are already there,” the company said.
By default, this feature is set to only work between devices signed into the same Steam account, but you can also transfer files between friends on the same local network.
