Amazon started selling books and fairy tales written by the ChatGPT neural network. Market policy does not directly forbid this, which is what “authors” use. Some of them have already managed to bring income in the first month after the start of sales.
Books and fairy tales written by the ChatGPT neural network began to be sold on the Amazon marketplace bookstore. It is reported by Reuters.
About 200 works are featured on the Kindle platform, where the ChatGPT neural network is the author or co-author. Amazon’s policy does not explicitly prohibit the sale of such books because the authors are not required to disclose information about the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the creation of works.
Reuters reports that a vendor made nearly $100 since January selling a 30-page children’s story created by ChatGPT. The Tale of a Squirrel’s Life is priced at $9.99 and the digital version is $2.99.
