The innovation is based on a lightweight chassis made of carbon fiber and a magnesium-lithium alloy. Although Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun does not provide any technical specifications for the device, the glasses are expected to be based on the Qualcomm chip.

The device is equipped with two large cameras on each side and a small camera in the centre, which are likely to be responsible for transmitting the visual data and converting it into a simulation for the user.

Xiaomi did not say how soon the new product will go on sale. The price of Xiaomi Wireless AR Glass Discovery Edition is also unknown. However, initially the device is expected to be available only in China.
