The Pentagon signed the largest AI contract since 2023 with ECS (a subsidiary of ASGN Inc.) for $117 million, although it later increased to $174 million, the publication reported.

According to him, the cooperation between the ministry and ECS involves “conducting research and development on the design and prototyping of artificial/machine learning algorithms” for the US military.

According to Fortune, the Pentagon currently has 83 active contracts, whose potential value ranges from $4 million to $60 million.
