Launched in December 2022, the VK NFT service announced a new feature that allows brands, artists, and influencers to create collections with the help of the VKontakte team. Minting of tokens will take place on the social network side of the Polygon blockchain.

The VK NFT service introduced the mechanics of creating collections for brands and celebrities.

According to a press release, now in VK NFT you can create brand pages for drops and distribute tokens to users of the social network. The functionality of the service also allows you to include various bonuses for users in NFT: discounts, gifts, subscriptions, tickets and special rates. Additionally, tokens can open access to a closed community or exclusive content.

As Marina Krasnova, CEO of VKontakte, noted, the VK NFT team is also open to more creative mechanisms of interaction with partner NFTs: those who want to test the new functionality should contact the service directly for more detailed information.

VK NFT’s goal is to make the technology truly mass-produced, to introduce the concept of Web3 and ownership of digital assets to millions of our users. For potential partners, VK NFT is a good opportunity to become a pioneer in the Web3 world and lead your audience.

The first big brand to use the tool was the STS channel, which presented its own NFT collection with the channel’s mascot. The token release is timed to coincide with the launch of the Superninja program. The NFT of the TV channel will be distributed among the winners of the contest.
