Winamp will restart as a streaming service in March

The relaunch of Winamp was announced by the owner of the once most popular media player in the world, Llama Group, which until the end of 2022 was called Radionomy Group.

Starting March 15, Winamp will launch as a streaming service. Musicians hosted on it will be able to get subscribers and receive up to 85% of the revenue from subscriptions. The authors of the content will set the price themselves, and the service will help them obtain the licensing rights for the musical works.

The platform will be available to users from April 15. It will be possible to use the service through applications for Android, iOS, as well as in the web version.
