Tomb’s LinkedIn profile states that he became Head of Zoom in June 2022. Prior to that, he worked at Google for over a year as VP of Sales at Google Workspace, Security and Geo Enterprise.

Zoom said in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that Tomb’s firing went into effect Friday. The statement was signed by Zoom’s COO Aparna Bava. It is not yet clear who will replace Tomb as Zoom President. A Zoom spokesperson told The Insider that the company would not want to replace Tombu and declined to comment further.
