Most of the country’s residents are ready to spend up to 5 thousand rubles on March 8, a survey conducted by SberMarket and the Rusopros agency showed. At the top of the desired gifts are flowers, sweets and perfume.
81% of respondents are going to meet the amount of up to 5 thousand rubles. The indicated price includes a gift, the purchase of food and the organization of the party. 13% are going to allocate from 5 thousand to 10 thousand rubles on this day, 6% – more than 10 thousand rubles.
The top 3 gifts women would like to receive from their loved ones are (multiple choice) flowers (56%), candy and chocolate (41%), and perfume (37%). The least expected on this day are tickets for events and clothing.
The majority of Russians (62%) plan to celebrate International Women’s Day at home. 19% would like to celebrate the holidays with their family or friends, 8% will go to a cafe, restaurant or cinema.
90% of women in the country are not only waiting for gifts from men, but they themselves go to congratulate mothers, sisters, daughters and girlfriends.
The survey involved 1002 people from 15 Russian cities, including Moscow, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Krasnoyarsk, Omsk.
