Fedor Ovchinnikov decided to leave the Supervisory Board of the X5 Group

It should be noted that Ovchinnikov made this decision for personal reasons. He will step down on March 8, 2023. The Supervisory Board has already started looking for a replacement candidate.

“We thank Fedor for his contribution to the development of X5 during the nine months of his work on the Supervisory Board and wish him success in the future,” said Petr Demchenkov, Chairman of the company’s Supervisory Board.

At the beginning of the year, Ovchinnikov announced his resignation as CEO of Dodo Brands, of which he is a founder. The businessman then emphasized that he would remain a shareholder in the company and retain his seat on the board of directors, but would no longer act as its current leader. Ovchinnikov also shared plans to write a book.

For the pizza chain, 2023 began with the opening of the first restaurant in the United Arab Emirates. Subsequently, the company said that this year they will dominate 8 new markets.
