Microsoft is testing a new feature called “File Suggestions”. Suggests specific files to open when the user visits the File Explorer home tab. Suggested files will be associated with the user account in Azure Active Directory (AAD), which the user can own or share with the user.
The purpose of the feature is to facilitate access to the most relevant files for the user. The solution specifically aims to speed up searches without having to navigate through folders and subfolders shared with other team members.
This feature is in its early stages and is currently only available to certain enterprise users who have this feature installed. update Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23403 and they are signed in with an Azure Active Directory account.
Since the feature could be controversial and possibly lead to ads in File Explorer, Microsoft plans to monitor feedback before rolling it out to everyone.
Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23403 also Expands Live Caption system to support more languages besides English, such as Brazilian Portuguese, French, Spanish, Italian and Spanish. The update also brings an access key system for the File Explorer menu.
The in-app help page in Voice Access has been revamped to be easier to use and understand, but still only supports English. The search bar helps users find commands quickly, while categories provide further guidance. Each command has a description and variation examples that make it easy to use.
Additionally, Narrator will now check for updates for Outlook support when launched and allow updates to the email app experience via the Microsoft Store.
