Galaxy S23 Ultra is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 200MP camera and 5000mAh battery. Apart from that, the S23 Ultra also has a screen that can reach 3088 x 1440 resolution, which Samsung classifies as WQHD +. Another important aspect of the display is its highest refresh rate, which is 120Hz. And this frequency is adaptive: the phone uses all 120fps as needed.
How do you set the S23 Ultra to 3088 x 1440 resolution, given that the smartphone “insists” on using normal FHD+ instead of WQHD+? Everything is simple here:
-
navigate in settings.
-
To find and select View.
-
Draft and select “Screen Resolution”.
-
choose WQHD+.
However, be aware that choosing the highest resolution can negatively affect the battery, reducing battery life.
However, the adaptive refresh rate on the Galaxy S23 Ultra is set to the highest value by default. You can lower it to 60, which is especially useful if you don’t feel much difference between 120 and 60fps. You’ll also save some battery life (useful for WQHD+ mode). You can also make these settings in the display settings, we wrote an approximate “way” above.
