Duolingo launches new version with same technology as ChatGPT

The functionality will use the virtual robot to generate responses to be presented by the company’s symbol, the Duo owl.

The other innovation is “Bate-Papo”, where students will have the opportunity to practice and develop their speaking skills in the language being taught. According to Duolingo, conversations will focus on specific situations, such as meeting at airports and cafes, and the technology will eventually provide feedback in addition to displaying encouraging messages.

Now available for iOS

for OpenAI AI functions in Duolingo tested with small groups of students and it shows promise. With the satisfactory results, the platform gradually started to roll out the service, first reaching iOS devices.
