Project Kuiper is Amazon’s project to build a network of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit to provide high-speed internet anywhere in the world. More than $10 billion will be invested in the project, according to the company.

  • Amazon claimsthat the “standard” version of the device will provide customers with speeds of up to 400 Mbps.

Amazon has yet to reveal how much it will cost per month for Project Kuiper customers. However, a company spokesperson says early adopters are already “satisfied” with the series and surprised by the price and performance.
