If the user wants to send an image containing the displayed text, it can be copied and transferred as the text itself. This functionality is being tested in the version of WhatsApp for iOS.

This is because after the update it became possible to recognize and capture text in images in iOS 16. For these purposes, apps use the iOS API.

Therefore, it is not yet known when and whether such a function will appear in the messaging version for Android. It is also unknown when the beta version will move to the general version.
