beeline South network infrastructure and equipment for launching new and scaling Russian CDN and streaming services that replace those that left Russia.
The partners are RuGix, cdnnow! and kinescope. The operator has detected the connection of their equipment at their technology sites, which is 2 times network delay management.
RuGix delivers the Internet traffic of its customers to consumers through its own and client distribution nodes. cdnow! is a platform for processing, protecting and delivering video, audio and static content around the world. Kinescope takes place in the cloud, everything for working with video (from video hosting to CDN and Live broadcasts). This is an alternative enterprise level solution from other Western vendors.
The departure from Russia of many foreign players in the field of CDN and streaming “cleared the field” for alternative domestic services. Foreign sites, in most cases, stopped developing their infrastructure in the Russian Federation and worked on reserves, and some completely exceeded their work capacity.
In total, up to 50% of user traffic fell on these services, now customers are trying alternatives. We observe the emergence of new domestic partners and start new work. Regardless of the scale of the business, a reliable network connection is always required, as close as possible to users – this is a necessity to compete with famous services, and for Beeline customers – always high-quality and fast Internet.
We decided to support the Russian company and our network infrastructure with RuGix, cdnnow! and Kinescope. This is likely to replace the decisions of Western companies and at the same time help the development of domestic products.
– Vice President for Operator Business of Beeline Sergey Bykov
In addition, the operator of the situation suffered from its infrastructure to launch new services and helped implement geographic redundancy and distribution of equipment connectivity in locations throughout Russia.
