In general, people can wait two months or more,” he said.
As Ferra.ru’s editor-in-chief Evgeny Kharitonov points out, another reason for the extended repair time is that the PlayStation is available in several similar, but still different, versions. Sony has changed the layout of the tracks several times since 2020. Therefore, the PS5 may look the same from the outside, but slightly different from the inside. Accordingly, spare parts for them are also different.
As Alexander Kuzmenko, a specialist in the computer games market, adds, even ASCs are now forced to work according to the so-called gray scheme. To replace any part, you have to wait for its delivery from China or other countries.
The lawyers added that the maximum repair time for any device in ASC should not exceed 1.5 months.
