Girard Khalil, creator of The Completionist, paid $22,791 to purchase all games for the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS.

The blogger wanted to get all the games for consoles before the closing of the Nintendo store, which is scheduled for March 27th.

Khalil bought 866 Wii U games and 1,547 3DS games. Some games could not be purchased because Nintendo removed their store. Included games for Wii U weigh 1.2 TB, and for 3DS – 267 GB.

Buying all the games took a little less than a year. In this, Khalil was used by his friends who used their bank cards to purchase 464 Nintendo eShop cards.

Youtuber is obliged to donate all consoles and games for them to the Video Game History Foundation so that they can be preserved for people. [Kotaku]
