Apple accuses Prosser and Michael Ramacciotti of a “coordinated scheme” to steal Apple data for “personal gain.” According to Apple, Ramacciotti provided access to the iPhone for developers and then showed Prosser the future iOS. These leaks later surfaced on Prosser’s channel.

According to court documents, Apple personally referred the lawsuit to Prosser in July, and a response is expected on Aug. 19. Despite numerous requests, Prosser “failed to formally respond” and the judge entered a default judgment. Apple is demanding compensation and a ban on further leaks.

Prosser states that he has not ignored the issue and has been in “active discussions with Apple” from the very beginning. He stated that the explanations for his silence were untrue and that he distinguished his “official court schedule” from “off-screen conversations.”
