Google announced Tuesday (21) that it has launched its productive artificial intelligence platform. poetFor user testing in the US and UK. After the successful launch of ChatGPT and the integration of its language model with Microsoft’s Bing search engine, big tech accelerated product development.
Bard uses data collected from the internet in real time, which can provide more accurate answers. Still, Google warns that its chatbot may err in some responses. The company created the “Google it” button so that the information provided by artificial intelligence can be checked.
How does Google Bard work?
Bard is an experimental conversational AI service based on an optimized and lightweight version of the LaMDA dialog natural language model. Technology creates sentences by calculating the probability of one word occurring one after another.
But unlike OpenAI technology, Bard provides three blueprints for the user to choose the best one. To prevent conversations between users and AI from getting out of control, Google will limit the number of keys in each dialog. However, there will be no restrictions on the amount of daily chats.
Testers must access the platform by logging in with a Google account. The company hopes the pilot phase will provide insight into how often and how engaged people are with the service.
