The retail network “Magnit” will suspend the work of its payment service Magnit Pay on March 27. This was reported by the press service of the retailer. The reasons are not specified.
The company asks customers to spend or withdraw all funds on Magnit Pay cards by March 27. At the same time, the press service made it clear to Interfax that the service could be restarted in the future.
To withdraw money, you can pay for any purchase on the Magnit network using a QR code. It is also recommended to pay for the Internet or mobile communications, pay for transportation or subscriptions in the Magnet application. It is also possible to transfer funds to a card from another bank, the retailer’s press service specified.
The retailer, together with VTB, launched Magnit Pay at the end of 2020. Then a new solution in the field of fintech was positioned as the start of the creation of the super application Magnit.
