According to a recent 9to5Google article, the upcoming chipset is expected to have an updated design, improved performance and power efficiency over its predecessor.

According to insiders, the innovation will be produced in 3nm process technology, which is a significant improvement over the 4nm process technology used in the previous generation.

This upgrade will likely result in higher processing speeds and lower power consumption, making it an ideal choice for high-end smartphones and other portable devices.

At the same time, it is reported that the company’s new chip will lose support for 32-bit applications.

The leak also indicates that the new chipset will include a “super scale” ARM Cortex-X3 core designed to deliver outstanding single-threaded performance.

This core is expected to run at an impressive 3.5 GHz and provide a significant performance boost.

In addition to Cortex-X3, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is expected to have three performance Cortex-A710 cores and four efficient Cortex-A510 cores. This configuration should provide an excellent balance of performance and energy efficiency, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications.

The new Qualacomm processor is expected to be announced in the fourth quarter of 2023.
