Upside Foods and GOOD Meat use chicken cells to create “cultured chicken products.” The company said it chose cells from which it grew “healthy and tasty” meat after removing the cells.
Cells are immersed in nutrients in a reservoir. They grow and divide, creating a cultured chicken. Whether it will reach the Russian market is an open question.
