Russia has created a “domestic analogue of ChatGPT”

“Researchers from the Russian IT company Sistemma, based on their own developments and research results from Stanford University, have created a domestic analogue of ChatGPT,” the developer said in a statement.

The company notes that its AI model runs on Russian servers and is “tailored for Russian business representatives and users.” At the same time, SistemmaGPT can also work in English.

The Sistemma press service told RIA that the chatbot is mainly intended to help business and government agencies. SistemmaGPT tests are now available for companies. On the developer’s website, it is reported that the acceptance of applications for the beta test has been suspended.

The company points out that its development is already “able to draw up a strategy to develop a company or bring a service to market, give specific recommendations to find potential customers, based on specific user characteristics, unlike ChatGPT, which gives general recommendations without being linked to specific companies and services.

In addition, Sistemma is “working on the creation of a model to work with images and video”. The opening beta test of this feature is scheduled for June 2023.

In mid-March, OpenAI introduced the fourth generation of its ChatGPT chatbot. The updated AI model can issue text responses to requests that contain images.
