“Authorities have to choose between keeping cat videos or securing critical functions of society.”Nammo CEO Morten Brandtzeg told VG.
The company needs to significantly expand the facility to fulfill billions of dollars in orders from the government, the armed forces and allied countries and to arm Ukraine. However, in March it was announced that TikTok will set up a power-hungry data center in Norway. The company has already signed a contract for electricity supply with a local electricity supplier. However, Nammo also demands the same amount (if not more) of electricity. Now it is unclear whether they will be able to take it. Nammo has yet to receive a response to the application.
