Roskomnadzor proposes to change the rules for the central management of the public communication network. Russian ISPs are required to have technical threat countermeasures (TSPU) as part of the law on the sovereign rune. The agency also wants the equipment to filter out sites that anonymize Internet users.

Roskomnadzor explained that such sites include those that allow you to sign up for other sites and instant messengers using a virtual phone number. If the proposal is accepted by the government, the changes will take effect on March 1, 2024.
