Lenta has published the financial statements for the fourth quarter of 2022 and for last year as a whole. According to the report, the retailer’s net profit fell by 95% in the last quarter of 2022. According to full-year results, it decreased by 64.5% and amounted to 4.85 billion rubles.
The company’s net profit margin in 2022 decreased by 16.8% to 32.6 billion rubles. EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) fell 15.2% in the fourth quarter of 2022.
In April 2022, Lenta hired Detsky Mir’s former CFO for a similar position. In February 2023, the retailer announced plans to open a pilot economy format supermarket in St. Petersburg.
