Lamoda customized the delivery of products from its catalog for users using artificial intelligence (AI). The platform analyzes which products will be of interest to the user and will now start showing them first.
“The Lamoda catalog contains more than 500,000 products, so when searching for a specific product, the user can spend time scrolling through the feed and choosing the perfect option for him. Now anything that might be of interest to the user is automatically pushed to the top of the topic,” the site said in a message.
AI analyzes information about which brands, colors and styles the customer was interested in, in what price range the purchases were made, and also takes into account “dozens” of other factors.
Previously, Lamoda launched an artificial intelligence service for the visual selection of clothes. Its difference from current innovation is that it explores a specific product category: it shows the user many options and studies his reaction, after which it narrows the range to the most suitable offers.
