Armenia is discussing the entry of the Yandex.Market to the local market. The Minister of Economy of the country Vahan Kerobyan met on this occasion with the vice president of the company Pavel Demidov.
This is reported by RIA with reference to the ministry’s press service. The report notes that in addition to the arrival of Yandex.Market in the country, the meeting also discussed the launch of Yandex.hub and the addition of Armenian products to Yandex.Lavka.
The parties discussed a series of issues related to the fiscal sphere, investments, the opening of service centers and the implementation of educational projects.
At the moment, services for ordering a taxi and food delivery are operating in Armenia. In addition, since last summer a company office has been opened in the country. Yandex representatives reported that the monthly number of users of the ecosystem in Armenia is about 700,000 people.
The company continues to expand its presence abroad. Previously, Yandex.Realty launched an apartment search in the United Arab Emirates.
