The study included adolescents of both sexes from 47 US states and a total of 5690 participants.

According to the survey results, 29% of the youth surveyed own a VR device, 14% use a VR device weekly, 4% daily, and 7% plan to buy a VR device in the near future.

Analysts say such a lack of interest in virtual reality could be bad news for Meta*, which has already lost $13.7 billion in the Reality Labs project.

The priority of spending for the younger generation was: for boys – food (24%), for girls – clothes (28%).
