Elon Musk gave a short interview to BBC journalist James Clayton on Twitter Spaces, in which he spoke about the reasons for buying the social network.
“Well, I had a question,” Musk answered a journalist’s question about why he bought Twitter.
Musk admitted that he was sure he bought Twitter only because he was in the fact that they would still force him to do it through the courts. He should avoid this, but after consulting with lawyers, he decided not to wait for the court’s decision.
In April 2022, Musk announced his intention to buy Twitter for $44 billion. But then the disappearance disappeared, saying that the company increased the real number of users and underestimated the number of bots.
After that, Twitter sued Musk to commit to acquiring the company. [TechCrunch]
