Intelligent algorithms overlay the moving Russian voice over the original, making it easier for users to understand the content. Currently, the feature only works with YouTube videos, but there are plans to add support for the popular Chinese platform Bilibili in the future.

To ensure high-quality translation, the developers collected a unique dataset of 100,000 videos used to train neural networks.

In this way, the system takes into account the complex features of the Chinese language, including the various tones and nuances of hieroglyphic writing.

To activate the translation function, the user needs to open Yandex Browser, select a video on YouTube and click on the “Translate video” button.

Note that the next language in the list of supported videos for translation is Chinese. It currently includes English, French, German, Spanish and Italian.
