Sarah Beals, who ended her service at the naval base on Whidbey Island in 2022, has been sued. It is also unclear whether he is retiring from or continuing the service. The official said that during his tenure at the top, he was one of 15 “worldwide” executives who ran the Donbass Devushka Telegram channel, which raised funds and held meetings with various guests. According to journalists, these are pro-Russian people.
At the same time, it was not possible to verify a single part of the confidential documents leaked through this channel.
Beals said he is the administrator of the Donbass Devushka account, and admitted to fundraising and hosting podcasts under that name. However, he added that he is one of 15 people “worldwide” involved in running the network. “Beals recorded podcasts with guests supporting Russian President Vladimir Putin and speaking out against US aid to Ukraine.”
