Yandex became the sole owner of the Yandex.Taxi group of companies. The company bought Uber’s full stake in the joint venture for $702.5 million, the Yandex press service said.

The Yandex.Taxi group of companies includes a service for ordering a taxi, car sharing and renting scooters. Changes in the composition of the founders will not affect the operation of services for users and partners, specified in Yandex.

Previously, Yandex bought Uber’s stake in Yandex.Food, Yandex.Lavka, a delivery service, and a division for the development of unmanned vehicles and rovers.

With the acquisition of the full stake in Yandex.Taxi, Yandex has fully consolidated the passenger technology and food technology business areas.
