Last year, Microsoft Rus LLC reduced the number of employees from 376 to 2 people, and Microsoft Development Center Rus LLC from 72 to 1 person.
The American company canceled a long-term lease for offices in the Krylatsky Hills business center in Moscow, but entered into a short-term contract at the same address.
The company’s reports indicate that Microsoft will continue to monitor changes in government restrictions in Russia and will make decisions about its activities in the country as the situation evolves. There are no plans to leave the country so far.
