Bill Gates He is convinced that AI is the technology of the coming years and one of the greatest revolutions of recent times. And now, the Microsoft founder has praised chatbots for their “fluency” in reading and writing, adding that this ability will soon allow them to help educate children.

For the tech millionaire and investor, the chatbot will take on the role of a reading assistant and even provide writing feedback.
Gates expects AI-powered chatbots to become even better at language learning over the next 18 months, and perhaps even become teacher assistants, before finally becoming language tutors two years later.
Gates added that artificial intelligence will make private tuition available to a large number of students who previously could not afford it. Even though services like ChatGPT come with a subscription plan, Gates believes it will still make AI-led private tutoring cheaper than hiring a human instructor.
In addition to language, Gates even expects AI to improve math in the near future, although it usually tends to struggle with even some basic calculations.
