At the end of March the electric scooter rental season began. For the month, the spending of Russians on rent exceeded 1.7 million rubles. This is double the figures for the same period in 2022.
The number of trips increased two and a half times, and the average check per trip decreased by 23 rubles and amounted to 131 rubles. Such data was shown by an analysis of transactions on the cards of Post Bank customers, which were reviewed by TASS.
In most cases, residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Moscow region, Krasnoyarsk and Krasnodar regions used kicksharing.
Russians tend to rent electric scooters for short business trips rather than recreational rides. According to kickshare services, the trip takes an average of 15 to 20 minutes, and the proportion of leisure trips has decreased.
- The other day, Yandex added Yurenta scooters to the Yandex.Go application for rent in Sochi and Adler. The company will continue to serve them independently, and the choice of models will depend on the service park of a particular city.
