Western car manufacturers have limited the functionality of their apps for Russian users. The problem affected owners of Skoda, Kia, Infiniti, Nissan and Renault.
Now they cannot remotely unlock car doors, start the engine, see the remaining fuel, and also update the programs that control the operation of the engine, ABS and braking system, Izvestia learned.
In addition, automakers left dealerships without software that would let them know about recall campaigns when technical faults were identified.
