A new feature called Intelligent disable has been discovered in the frontends of the operating system that will reduce the number of unnecessary notifications in the system.
Smart disable offers to turn off notifications from apps that the user does not interact with regularly. For example, if you haven’t turned on Outlook notifications for a month, the system will ask you to turn them off.
According to some users, this innovation will have a positive impact on the user experience of the majority of Windows 11 users. It’s stereotypical because too many notifications can be distracting.
So far, participants in operating system testing have access to the new functionality. But it is worth believing in time, it will reach everyone.
