In September-October 2023, one fifth (20%) of catering establishments will close in Russia. All of these establishments have opened or will open this spring. This conclusion was made by Kontur.Market analysts, whose study is at the disposal of TASS.
Analysts suggested that sales in the industry will grow this spring, including thanks to the start of the season and the opening of new outlets.
In April, the average bill decreased by 3% compared to January and amounted to 600 rubles. Experts attributed this to the “dead” season before the beginning of summer.
According to experts, in the spring of 2023 the number of registrations of new establishments will increase, but in autumn a fifth of them will close, since they were open for a season.
