The Yandex Delivery service has begun testing new “Helper” options in the Yandex Go application. The company announced this at the YAC 2024 conference.
The new function will come in handy when the courier needs to pick up a purchase from a pick-up point, buy something inexpensive, or stop at a dry cleaner or pharmacy.
The process works as follows: the user forms an application in the application, where all the details and reward are described → the courier provides the service → the user returns the money for the purchase to the courier.
The cost of the service is calculated by the service itself. Payment occurs after completing the application.
The courier can purchase goods worth no more than 2,000 rubles. The customer is obliged to compensate the purchase price in cash or by transfer.
The option is currently being tested in Moscow, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk. After the implementation is completed, it will be launched throughout Russia.
