Since May 3, the Moscow authorities have prohibited the launch of drones over the capital. This was announced by the mayor of the city Sergei Sobyanin on his Telegram channel.

Moscow banned the launch of drones

“We have decided to ban the launch of UAVs in the city of Moscow from today, with the exception of UAVs used by decisions of state authorities,” the statement said.

The press service of the mayor of Moscow also reminded of administrative and criminal liability for the unauthorized launch of a UAV. It is not yet known when the restriction will be lifted.

On Wednesday, May 3, information appeared in the media about an incident in the center of Moscow involving a drone.
